Insects

August is a month in which you can see a great variety of insects.

First, the beetles expose themselves. They really seem to be fond of the flowers of the Angelica plant.




Then there is a peak in the butterfly, dragonfly and damselfly population.




And finally, when the days become shorter, the moths are all over the place. Just take a close look at this guy. The dark round eyes, bird-like beak and giant ears give it's face a frightening expression.
