Yellow-green

Finally, the deciduous trees are leafing out, giving the branches and crowns of these trees a fresh light green glow. The birches and maples are the first to show their new leaves. But wait, it aren't leaves at all which are giving the maples their beautiful yellow-green shine. If you take a closer look, you can see that this is caused by countless little flowers.

Maples flower first, before the leaves appear.
